In honor of International Women’s Day, in cooperation with Google and P&G, we set out to conduct a social experiment in the heart of Tel Aviv. On the main boulevard, we built an interactive glass booth people could enter, wear VR glasses that put them in the shoes of female high-school students, in order to simulate a first-hand experience of an intimidating shaming situation. This experience aimed to empower teenage girls to break their silence and stand up to bullies.
#TakeAStand was created as part of the Always #LikeAGirl global campaign to boost self-confidence in teen girls and was widely covered by Israel’s local media. We published the experience online, engaging over 1 million viewers to participate; creating the world’s first interactive 360-video on Youtube.
